The grapes were pressed and macerated frequently during the 10-day fermentation period in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by the malolactic fermentation. Aging took place over a 20-month period in various oak barriques. The wine was then bottled without filtration and continued to age in the bottle for an additional 14 months prior to release. |
