Soil: Chalky with gravel and clay.
Vinification & Aging: The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and macerated for another 15 days under temperature controls. During this time, the tanks were pumped over twice a day. The wine then went through malolactic fermentation. The wine aged in stainless steel tanks for 12 months. A light filtration was followed by bottling and an additional 6 months bottle aging prior to release.

Description: Intense ruby red in color. The bouquet is spicy with undertones of herbs, raspberries. Bright, refreshing and quaffable, on the palate perfect balance and long finish.
Food Pairing: Roast game and roast pork.
