Grapes harvested in the first days of October, the grapes were dried in ventilated lofts to prevent Botrytis. After 2 days, the grapes were pressed and transferred into stainless steel tanks where fermentation and maceration took 30-35 days followed by the malolactic fermentation. Aging took place over a 10 months period in 2,6 hl French oak barriques. The wine was bottled in March of the next year and stayed in the bottle for 6 months. |
